I wonder how people still fall for these Acai berry Free Trial scams. People please stop falling for such scams.
Those evil marketers will keep promoting acai berry free trial scams to make money, do you know for each “free trial pack” you sign up for the affiliate marketer promoting that scam gets $30-50!!
So how exactly do you think this money comes from? Companies pay webmasters by stealing the money from your credit cards!
There are thousands of true stories over internet recently that free acai berry trials scammed people and ripped off!
Lemme give you a brief idea how it works, an evil webmaster will offer you a “free trial” and ask for just Shipping charges. But then chances are you will never receive that free trial package.
Even if you do you will find that your credit card has been charged with a large sum. And guess what this will re occur every month!
There is no way you can get out of this scam, the company charging your credit card will never cancel the subscription you never signed up, your bank can’t do much help either and in most cases innocent people end up either closing their bank accounts or canceling their credit cards.

Here is a comment that you really need to publish so that all can read and benefit. I was a victim of a free trial scam and here is what you should do if you still feel the need to be hosed.
The first thing you should do is fill in all the information they want (can be bogus info)so they will take you right to the credit card page. Once you are there DO NOT FILL IN THE CREDIT CARD INFO!!
But now they think they have you, and somewhere on that page they will have the details (basically a disclaimer to rip you off) of the free trial. First, call the number they provide in case you want to cancel your order.
That’s right…call it before you order to see if it even connects to a person. If you can’t get through now, believe me, you won’t get through later.
OK, now read the details where it tells you that if you don’t want to keep the free trial, you can cancel your subscription. Well my fellow consumer, think about it, if you can’t TRY the free trial, then how are you going to know if you want more. Right there they are protecting themselves from prosecution by telling you that if you don’t send the free trial right back after you get it, then you are going to pay full price for it. What happened to the free trial?
If you have not figured out by now that there is no free trial, then you need someone else to monitor your finances and protect you. These marketers are not doing anything illegal. They tell you right up front what is going to happen to your credit card.
It is not a scam, just a well worded invitation to a robbery without a gun.
I can’t express this strong enough….READ THE DETAILS OF THE FREE OFFER VERY SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY TWO OR THREE TIMES UNTIL YOU FINALLY UNDERSTAND HOW THEY ARE OPERATING.
Yet unfortunately, anyone reading this advice is usually here when it is too late and you have already had your card whacked for a couple of hundred dollars. My condolences.
Hi my wife fell for the same trap, she didnt sign up for expensive subcriptions and we are in the process of cancelling the card in question and hopefully we can get a refund of $83.34 x 2
then we will be very thankful and never this naive
many thanks
Please can you help me with my situation as i really don’t know what to do for the best. Here my story explains:
About 2 months ago i decided to find an alternative way to loose weight as i had tried many diets but unfortunately none of them were effective. Therefore 1 day i was searching the net and came across an advert for a product called Acai Berry & Life Cleanse. I read up on a woman’s story of how these tablets helped her to loose alot of weight in a short period of time. Underneath her story there was a link to a website that gave a free trail plus she gave 2 coupon names to make the cost even cheaper. I clicked the link and read up on the product also cost information and all seemed legit so i filled in my name and address. It then took me to another page to enter the coupon details & my bank card details. The price i had to pay for postage and packaging was £3.95 but with putting the coupon code in it took the price down to £1.95. Once i had clicked enter another pop up appeared saying my order had been processed and £1.95 would be charged to my bank account.
Within a week i received me product so i checked my bank account to make sure it had came out and i was charged £4.11 plus £1.50 service charge then a further 77p plus £1.50 service card again from a company called Youth Health on the 9th of September. That’s when i realised i was receiving them from abroad and they were charging a service charge plus cost for each product not both together. As it wasn’t much more i didn’t think anything of it and left it at that.
On Wednesday the 7th of October 09 i went to a cash machine to take out money but the machine said i had no funds to take out. I knew i had over £200 in the account but automatically i thought i had forgotten a bill that was due to come out so i transferred another £200 form my other account as i was in Glasgow for a couple of days. The following day i went to another cash machine to take out funds and once again it said i had no funds available. Panicking i checked my online banking to find out what was going on and to my horror i had been charged £76.86 + £1.50 service charge 3 times from 3 different companies!!! coming to a total of £235.08!!!
Beside each charge the company names were displayed as Global Wellbeing, Agedefy & Youthhealth.
Concerned i then contacted my bank to explain the situation that i had not made any purchases of that amount anywhere. The y cancelled my bank card so no other transactions could be made and put in for a fraud investigation. I was in such a state as i was in Glasgow with no money therefore my holiday had to end and i had to drive home. On the way i popped into a friends house to use his internet as my mind wouldn’t rest and had to have a proper look at the charges. I noticed beside each of the companies’ there was a number which presumed a contact number for abroad so decided to try one out. I dialled the number that was beside Global Wellbeing from my mobile and it rang. After about 6 minutes of listening to a tune a lady came on the phone and asked what my query was. I explained everything that was concerning me about the charges and the woman’s reply was that because i never cancelled my accounts within 15 days of making the purchase i was being charged for a subscription fee for each account and would every 30 days until i did cancel the accounts. The first thing i said back was i never created 1 account let alone 3 accounts. thats when she explained that according to her computer i had made one purchase which created an account then a month later i made 2 other purchases therefore creating the other 2 accounts. I told her i did not know anything about what she was talking about and the reply was it was my own fault as i never read the terms and conditions before entering my bank card details. I explained i read the site thoroughly and never found such thing in the terms and conditions about what she was telling me and she said her computer does not lie therefore i am!!!
After getting nowhere on the subject i told her i would like a refund of everything back and she said its a non refundable company and that more purchases were delivered a few weeks back and that when i told her i had not received anything bar the first products i had ordered. Also i would not be excepted for a refund as it was my fault for not reading these terms and conditions but i could still apply by email.
This is where i had to laugh, she then asked me if i would like to cancel all the accounts so i would not get anymore charges!!! Well duh!! She gave me cancelations numbers and said i would receive an email confirming this and if i wished to apply for a refund to reply to the email which i did and i received one back saying exactly was she said. My guess she written the email herself. I have later searched more on the internet and i am not the only 1 that’s been scammed with this, its all over the internet called the Acai Berry Scam!!!!
Please if there is anything you can do so i can get my money back i would be ever so grateful.
I don’t think it’s the diet pills that make you loose weight, it’s the stress the company puts you through!!!
The numbers that were beside the company names are:
Global Wellbeing +3618088234 GB
Agedefy +39 064 523 0 GB
Youthhealth +38 616 004 9 GB

I think we should all file a report with the State’s Attorneys Office and the Better Business Bureau so no more people fall pray to dishonest companies as these.
kivrosdalai 7:12 PMI did not realize the rip-off until I checked my bank account five days after I received the product and realized I had a charges from three different companies totalling almost $200.00. I called the companies and they “promised” they would refund the money after I mailed the product back, that is when I got online and realized I was not the only victim. People have lost even more money to these thieves, so I got on the phone with my bank right away and canceled my debit card, they told me to fax a letter to Regulation E Department to dispute the charges. I hope this info helps some of you ripoffreport.com/Alternative-Health/Pure-Nutrients-Produ/pure-nutrients-products-colon-9na62.htm
